OUR NEWSTART VISION

The Wisconsin District Church of the Nazarene is comprised of local congregations of the Church of the Nazarene. Convinced that God calls and commissions us to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the holiness message with others, we covenant together by responding to the call of starting new church opportunities in key locations within our sphere of influence.

FOCUS

7 2 3 Church Planting Vision
7 years
2 church plants yearly
New plants give birth within 3 years

We are praying, planning and expecting a supernatural invasion of God in Wisconsin! Pray for:
  • A Deep Passion for Lost People!
The reason we plant churches is because it is the quickest way to reach lost people with the hope of the gospel. Lost and broken people matter to God. Therefore, lost and broken people matter to us!
  • Called Church Planters
We need men and women who have a call of God upon their lives to plant a new church in one of our cities throughout Wisconsin.
  • Planting Churches
Churches on our district who will partner with church planters to start new churches.

Has your church found a vision to plant a new church? It is the most effect way to reach lost people for Jesus Christ! Pray and ask the Lord of the church planting what He would ask your church to do.
  • Why Plant a New Work?
A new location with reach people that will never attend the mother church. It increases the outreach of the church and will see new people come to Christ and become fully devoted followers of Jesus. Planting new churches will revitalize the mother church as she celebrates the victories.
  • Christ has a vision for church planting and the churches he wants us to plant!
We desire ongoing conversations and actions so that a culture of church planting becomes an ongoing process and a part of our District's DNA.
